Last Wednesday, I watched a movie named ‘ High school musical’. This is the first movie to watch for our writing class. I watched it with my classmate Chihiro, Kana, Hiroaki and Kouhei. This is third time for me to watch this. This movie is a Disney musical movie and it is loved by around the world. Also High School Musical was Disney Channel's most watched film that year with 7. million viewers in its premiere broadcast in the US. This is the most and this is my Favorite movie of Disney movies for me.
Now I will tell you about this movie’s characters. Main character is Troy Bolton. He is the most popular male student at East High School, and the captain of the varsity basketball team. He has been played basketball. Also his father is a coach of this team. For this film, Efron's singing was blended with singer Drew Seeley’s voice. I like him. I thought he cans everything. He has both ability with sport player and singer. I’m jealous! He never resignation both if he is busy or something happen. His mind is wonderful.
Next is Gabriella Montez. She is one of the braniacs on the scholastic decathlon team and she is very cute and smart. She also, I’m jealous. Her voice is very cute and sweet. She looks like a Disney character. I like her voice very much! In this story, at first she was very poor to sing a song. But since she met Troy, she began remember that singing a song is very fun. I want to become her a person with many wonderful abilities lady.
Next is Sharpay Evans. She is an energetic student interested in theatre as well as being the center of all attention, most particularly, Troy's. Ryan Evans is Sharpay's brother. I also like them. I think that their very nice duet for the musical. Especially I like their dance and performance. Their dance makes me very fun. In this movie, their character is not so good. But it’s a very nice character.
Next is Chad Danforth. he is Troy's best friend, and is very good friends with Jason and Zeke. He often became a bad friend. But finally, he became a very kind friend. We felt friendship. So I know his mind. Troy should concentrate on basketball more! Because he is captain and his position is very important for team. The teammates also needs Troy. It’s very wonderful.
And Taylor McKessie is Gabriella's best friend. She is captain of the school Scholastic Decathlon team. She also often became a bad fiend to Gabriella. But she also a really kind person. I thought she and Chad will become very nice couple.
This movie makes me very happy every time. I know that this school is a movie and not a real American high school. But after I watched this movie, I had a longing to go to an American high school. I feel that for American student is very liberty is everything. For example life style, school style, expression. Of course it’s not only America and not America.
My most favorite scene is the audition. Troy and Gabriella’s voice are wonderful and many friends supported to them. Their power made their chance come true and they could chasee their dream. My heart became warm. I like many of the dance scenes of this movie. But I like this scene very much. If I have chance I want to watch this movie again and again!
