Minnesota !

I wrote this essay in Minnesota at this summer vacation. I wrote this during class and I chose speaker of classmate. And I speech this in graduation. It’s was very scurry and wonderful my memory. I always have this essay letter put in my pen case and I sometimes read this. Then I every time think that I have chance I want to go Minnesota and meet my host family again!



3 weeks ago I came to Minnesota. This was my first time to stay in America. Before coming here, I was very nervous. Because my English is very poor .But I was very looking forward to meet my host family Derek, Alain Eli and Emily…
I will not forget about when I met my host mother Alaina in the airport, she welcomed me with her big smile. It made me very happy and reassured me.
My Minnesota life is wonderful. I had a lot of experiences of various things. For example studying about education, ESL in the Bethel University everyday, and sometimes going to outside, going shopping with my host family, going to Minneapolis to dancing with Emily at midnight, swimming in the Mississippi river, going to lake and jet skiing for the first time etc…However staying in America with not so easy for me. Everyday I thought “I want to master English! I want to talk with my host family more! I want to understand what teacher is saying more!!” I wish I had studied English more…before coming here
The first night I came here, I was crying about my poor English. And then I decided that I will study hard and try to communicate this one month. From then on if I had time, I trying to study English and think “Today what should I talk to my host family…” And second night I was crying again. But it was a cry for joy.
My hast mother Alaina and father Derek they are really kind to me. Every night helping me with my home work, teaching me about America, watching movie together after baby went to sleep. I liked spending this time with host parents every night the best! Also I had very fan time with my nine month old host brother Eli.
Lastly I want to say thank you to everyone. First my host family, Derek, Alaina, Eli, Emily, Henry and Lucy (two dogs), Emily and their family. I was very happy to spend this month with you!! Next my favorite teacher Joel, Linda, Peggy, Kailey! I was able to enjoy everyday!! Also thank you to Celeste for always driving me. I enjoyed talk with you!!
This program gave me many chances and changed me. I can’t thank you enough. When I go back to Japan, I will never forget these wonderful experiences, never, never, never…

MR3-1 Brass off

I watched the movie whose name is “Brass” in Japanese title. In English title is “Brassed off”. This movie was made in England in 1996. This movie’s stage is coal mine in England. At first before when I heard about to watch this movie I thought this movie was a funny movie, because this movie’s title is Brass. Brass is music so my image is that the movie was funny. But in fact it’s not. I was thinking many things and moved by this movie. I thought to live after losing your job was not easy again. It’s very difficult. If we have no money, we can’t live our life and if we have family, we can’t bring up our family. It’s very severe but reality. The people of this movie also worry about poverty. Not having a job makes them very tortured and driven.　Many people request their job for live.
This movie’s Brass is very wonderful! This is the first time to think that Brass music is wonderful. I was really moved with mix of music and story. My most favorite scene is when the brass band played in the courtyard of Danny’s hospital. Then Danny’s son Phil was crying while he was playing performance for band. Before many people give up to get their job again and to play in the band with everyone. Danny’s accident is very bad thing but I think that for the brass band, it is a good thing because the accident showed deep ties and people became reconciled.
This story also has a love story. I think love is not easy. I studied that to believe in love is difficult but a very important thing.
Also I studied that when similitude bad things happen, to live and love is important.
I think that this movie has many loves. Love of to playing band music. Love of friend. Love of girlfriend, love of family and so on. This movie is definitely funny movie. But we can study something and can respect.

My favorite time of recently

Today I will write about my favorite time of recently. The time of my favorite is to spend with my friends. Especially ‘Yuhei, Yuji, Komugi and Kousei’. I met them at last English weekend. We often spend together since then. We often meet for example when no class, when after school, when midnight and so on. I like this time so much! So few weeks ago, Youhei became 22 years old. So when we hold party of English weekend, we organized surprise birthday party of him. But that day, happening was happened. Because Yukie sent e-mail which written about surprise birthday party for member and ….Yuhei! she got shock but I felt very funny. I said her “No program! It’s a very funny happening!” any time and encouraged. But in fact surprise birth day party was succeeded. We presented him Welsh onion and birthday cake. Why Welsh onion for present??? I can’t say about it.
And really his birthday, Yuji, Komugi, Kousei and me was hold 2nd surprise birthday party at Yuji’s house. I and Komugi made original album for Yuhei. We put many picture and wrote massage from many people. We made it every day. It’s so hard but we enjoyed. We wanted to move him! We wanted to see him smelly face. And his 2nd surprise birthday party was also succeeded! When yuhei came into Yuji’s house, we put off room light and put on light of writer as a light of candle and we sung a birthday song. He was so surprised but he looked happy! And then we gave him birthday cake and especially original album for him and we saw together. His face looked so happy and fun. After that by his request, we went to Karaoke 3 hours. That was first time to went Karaoke the member but so fun! That day I also felt happy that I could spend with them.
I really appreciate them. Because they always support me. This writing class same with Yuhei. So I can fight each other. Yuji, he teaches me how to study English. Komugi, she always makes me funny and Kousei, he gave me many advice. Nest spring, Yuhei and Yuji will graduation, we will so hard. So we decided that there rest time, we try to make many happy memory together. Thank you Yuhei. Thank you Yuji. Thank you Komugi. Thank you Kousei. I love you.

W9 Typing homework Favorite ice cream

I will write about my favorite ice cream today. Do you like ice cream? I like it so much!! I really like ice cream and I eat it all season. Even Winter I became want to eat Ice cream. I like many kind ice creams. But I like it better than a shaved ice with syrup on the top. My favorite ice cream is simple and nut decollated. I also like nut very much. If I am ok, I want to eat three ice creams on one day. For example after breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My favorite taste is very many. But especially I like green tea taste. Another is cheese, mint, and chocolate and so on. I have dream. So I want to eat rich ice cream everyday someday.
