Essay 2-02b New I and English

Now, I am studying English as a major subject in my university every day and I like it very much. Do you like English? I like it very much. To speaking, to writing, to listening, is not so easy. Reading and grammar is also difficult for me. But I interested English and many other countries where I don’t know. I also like to talk with from other countries people in English. I think that to study English is very important for me and you. From I have entranced this university, I participation Freshman camp in spring and English weekend in autumn. It was important things for me. Now I have a many friends from abroad, for example exchange student. They also teach me about many things. Also last year I learned German as a second language. It was more difficult better than English. And now, I interested in Chinese so I studied it my self.

When I was a little childhood, my mother often told to me thank you very much. I think this is the first words I remembered from English. In elementary school, I learned the Roman alphabet. I interested it and English very much. I studied very hard and I wrote a love letter to a favorite boy wrote in the Roman alphabet. This is not foreign memory for me. Also, then I learned English by ALT in English class. I liked the class. In elementary school, I knew pleasure of English.

In junior high school, I didn’t like English because I didn’t like the English teachers They were Japanese. I was a shy person so I didn’t talk in English with teacher or friends. But I began listening to English music, I like English again and I wanted to learn English more. So I began to go to a cram school　near my house. Grammar and Listening was to difficult for me but I try hard every time.


In high school, I chose English class　as an optional course. I studied to authorized textbook in English. It was very difficult but I tried to it many times. When I was a freshman, I went to Australia by school excursion. That was a first time to go abroad for me. At there I learned a lot of things. The most I thought was an important of language. I wanted to speak with my host family about many things. But I was a very shy and I couldn’t speak. That things was very regrettable. Also when I was a last high school summer, I went to Cambodia to do volunteer from high school. the mother tongue in Cambodia is not English but If I could English, I could communication with Cambodian and I could learn more and more. And when, I decided to study English more in university.

Now I have a dream. So I want to go abroad to study language during in university life. I must try to test to get the chance. I think that it will very difficult but I want to try it!! I want to visit many countries where I don’t know and I want to made many friends from many different countries
